Al Jayoush Law Firm provides legal services relating to Technology and

In Syria, however, there is still no legislation to govern e-commerce. Therefore, conflicts

arising in this area subject to the general laws, regulations and judicial precedents.

Nevertheless, the government of Syria has proposed a draft law dealing with Digital

Signature which is based on the Model Law of the United Nations Commission on

International Trade (UNCITRAL).

such as the Syria B.O.T contract, where government leases land to a private investor at a

nominal price for a long period of time, such that the investor launches the project and

manages it, while at the end of the contract period, ownership of the project is transferred to
